WHAT IS DACLATASVIR 60 MG ?

Daclatasvir is an antiviral medicine that prevents hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body.

DACTOVIN 60 MG DACLATASVIR USES

Daclatasvir 60 mg is used with another antiviral medication (sofosbuvir)&nm reat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. These medications together reduce the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which helps your immune system fight the infection and may help your liver recover.

DACTOVIN 60 MG COMMON SIDE EFFECTS :

Tiredness, headache, nausea, or diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing.

  • It is unknown if Daclatasvir medicine passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Breast-feeding is not recommended if this medicine is used in combination with ribavirin.

STORAGE AND HANDLING :

Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F).

DRUG INTERACTIONS :

Amiodarone may interact with sofosbuvir. Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking amiodarone.

Other medications can affect the removal of Dactovin from your body, which may affect how this medicine works. Examples include rifampin, St. John’s wort, drugs used to treat seizures (such as carbamazepine, phenytoin), among others.
